Subseries in Elections (E)
State Executive (EE)
The State Executive subseries is composed of four dossiers: Direct elections of 1965 (ED65); Indirect elections of 1970 (EI70); Indirect elections of 1974 (EI74) and Indirect elections of 1978 (EI78). They deal with direct and indirect elections for governors held during the dictatorship.

Federal Executive (EF)
The Federal Executive (EF) subseries contains three dossiers: Presidential Succession 1966 (SP66); Presidential Succession 1969 (SP69) and Presidential Succession 1974 (SP74). It contains documents referring to expectations for presidential successions and presents potential candidates for the Presidency of the Republic.

National Congress (CN)
The National Congress (CN) subseries has two dossiers: Direct elections of 1966 (ED66) and Direct elections of 1974 (ED74). They deal with the direct elections for the National Congress (deputies and senators) that took place during the dictatorship.

Electoral interventions and reforms (IR)
The Electoral Interventions and Reforms (IR) subseries has two dossiers: Electoral Reforms (RE) and Interventions in Municipalities (IM). It contains documents on proposed changes to the electoral process and nominations of military allies for mayoral positions.
