Unauthorized telegram with several censored passages, dated January 21, 1969, sent to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), received in copy by the United States Embassy in Brasília, about a conversation with an anonymous source in which the implementation of Institutional Act 5 was discussed, its possible impacts on the relationship between Brazil and the United States, the positions of Brazilian officials in relation to negative reactions from the United States and the desires of more moderate Brazilian officials.
