Prof. Pedro Dallari
Director, with a mandate from 2022 to 2025, and Full Professor of International Law at the Institute of International Relations (IRI) at the University of São Paulo (USP), of which he was Vice-Director (2011-2013) and Director (2014-2017 ).
Graduated in Law (1981) from the Faculty of Law (FD) of USP and in Business Administration (1984) from the School of Business Administration of São Paulo (EAESP), Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), he obtained the titles of Master (1992), Doctor (1999) and Associate Professor (2009) in International Law at FD-USP.
At USP, among other duties, he serves as coordinator of the Ibero-American Center (CIBA-USP) and the José Bonifácio Chair and member of the Human Rights Commission (CDH-USP). With intense public activity in Brazil and abroad, he served in parliamentary terms between 1989 and 1999. From 2004 to 2008, he was judge and president of the Administrative Court of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and, from 2011 to 2017, member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Justice Studies of the Americas (CEJA), an organization of the Organization of American States (OAS). From 2013 to 2014, he was a member and coordinator of the National Truth Commission (CNV).
