The Hard Line (LD) dossier refers to meetings, conversations and various contacts between American diplomats and military officers with radical positions, classified as “hard line”. They deal with documents about the impressions and perspectives of these officers regarding the political conduct of the country, the continuity of the so-called “1964 revolution” and others.
Military Politicians (PM)
The Military Politicians (PM) dossier deals with meetings, contacts and conversations between American diplomats and military officers who held political positions, whether in the Executive or Legislative branches, in any sphere of government. These military politicians were internally referred to as “amphibians” by their colleagues. They deal with their analyses and impressions of national politics, as well as the actions of military governments.
